Clara-Rose is a young woman of 17 years with dark blue eyes and long blond curly hair, which she sometimes likes to tie up in a high ponytail. She has a slender figure and is about 1.65 tall. Her skin is a very light colour, almost white and contrasts with her long black lashes. Concerning her style you can state that Clary (which is what her friends call her)likes to wear simple clothes. On a normal day she usually wears casual dresses or jeans and you barely see her without her famous cowboy boots. Her favorite colour is white, because she likes simple things. One of her favorite past time activities is reading. Sometimes she spends hours sitting still in a corner reading a couple of books. At first sight Clara seems to be shy, reserved and introvert but if you’re close to her you know that she can be all bubbly and go totally crazy. Although the pretty girl seems to be weak and delicate she is extremely athletic and runs faster than the other girls. She can even outrun some of the boys! Since she spends a lot of time reading, Clara-R. is very intelligent which is why she is great at elaborating strategies which sometimes can be a great advantage to her group, the Orchids. Unfortunately she can be quite impatiant and can get upset very easily if she doesn’t understand something or if things don’t work out the way she wants them to. She might seem a bit cold hearted if you don’t know her but once she is your friend she’ll be the most lovely and charming person you have ever known.

One who does not know our dear Clara-Rose might think she is an average innocent girl..But if you get to know her a little better you will learn that she’s not average at all. One of her main goals is to be the smartest and fastest in every thinkable situation. To Clary life is a competition. If she does something she wants to do it right and be better than everyone else. This may make you think that Clara-Rose is a selfish and egoistical person but she doesn’t want to fight others she just always makes an effort. As much as she wants to improve her own skill as much she likes helping others. If you have a problem, Clary is the one to ask. She is willing to help you in any situation and will surely find a solution for your problems. Sometimes she is not very sensitive for other people’s feelings but she does her best to be polite and understand everyone’s feelings and problems. The only thing that is more important to Clary than hard work and success is friendship. She loves her friends more than anything else in the world and does whatever it takes to protect them. If you hurt any of her friends Clara-Rose will become your worst enemy and believe it or not: You will regret the day you antagonized Clara-Rose Gilly!!

Clara –Roeses story is a secret. Nobody knows where she came from. One day, it was the 13th of November when Clara was about 14 years old, she showed up in Whiteriver Town. Without parents, without brothers or sisters, without any relatives…frankly speaking: without anyone to accompany her. She was lost and alone yet strong and determined. The only thing she carried with her were a photo of three people: a man, a woman and a little boy as well as a piece of cloth stained with blood. If you ask her where she comes from and what happended to her in the past, she doesn’t answer. When she arrived in Whiteriver Town an old Lady called Mrs. Dolly offered to let the girl live at her place and from there on would treat her as if she were her own daughter. Shortly after she turned fifteen Clara joined the “pensionnat” of Whiteriver Town.
